| This web site is for the use of people
associated with my Colgate 26 sailboat as
well as for anyone else who may be interested in what she is doing or has done. She was constructed, delivered from
Florida, assembled, and raced all during a period of just 3 weeks at beginning of
August 2002. Her name is Fall Line (FLL) following in the naming footsteps of my first Sonar. The hull number & sail number is 157. My winter activity is teaching skiing at Killington VT. You can visit my skiing web site to see what is going on during the winter in Vermont.

NEW for 2007 - after being upset with our performance in light air racing (0 - 10 or 12 k) I finally made the decision to add a genoa for PHRF racing. We have only used it for a few races but so far it has worked well and helped get us some bullets. I spent a lot of time setting this up so I thought it may be helpful to share my findings & detailed info with others. All the information can be found by selecting GENOA details.

We had a strong (gusts to 60
knots) northeasterly storm the night of May 25,
2005. By morning Fall Line was submerged. The
floatation system worked as designed and a few weeks later she came back to win
the 2005 NOOD regatta. See photos HERE.
The
2004 race season
was another great year for Fall Line. An important part of her success was the
energetic and talented people who were on the crew
all season. This years record is as follows;
The
2003 racing season was our first full PHRF season
for the Colgate 26, Fall Line. She developed a very positive record. Click
